MARK MENZIES - a short concert (less than an hour) of old and (very) new solo violin music: music by Bach, Biber, Corral, Menzies, Wadada Leo Smith. Mark Menzies, violinist, from New Zealand, currently living in Los Angeles where he is head of strings at the California Institute of the Arts. Los Angeles Times describes him as an 'extraordinary musician' and a 'riveting violinist'.
